Privacy Policy
How StackIndex collects, processes, and protects data.
1. Data Ingestion & Telemetry
StackIndex operates primarily as a B2B intelligence database. When you visit our platform, we collect standard operational telemetry (such as IP addresses, browser types, and usage metrics) to ensure our infrastructure runs smoothly and to analyze aggregate traffic patterns.
2. Information You Provide
If you submit a request via our Discovery Engine form, we collect the data you input, including:
- The names of the software platforms you are evaluating.
- Your corporate email address (if provided).
- The procurement context or use case you describe.
This data is routed securely through our automation pipelines (hosted via Make.com) to queue new intelligence briefs. We do not sell your email address to third-party vendors or add you to marketing lists without explicit consent.
3. Third-Party Integrations & Processing
To operate our platform, we utilize third-party APIs and infrastructure:
- Make.com: Powers our backend Discovery, Research, and Publishing pipelines. Data submitted via our site may be processed through their secure servers.
- Clearbit & Google APIs: Used to fetch transparent company logos and favicons for our database.
- Analytics: We use standard analytics tools to track page views and interactions to improve our intelligence offerings.
4. Affiliate Tracking
We utilize affiliate tracking links. If you click an external link to a software vendor, a tracking cookie may be placed on your browser by the vendor or an affiliate network. This allows the vendor to attribute the referral to StackIndex. These cookies do not grant us access to your personal financial data or the vendor's internal platform.
5. Your Data Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact our administrative team.
